We are continuoulsy working on enhancing our product. Sometimes that means removing complexity that is an outcome of functionality. One of those complex functionalities is Mandatory application.
The functionality Mandatory application was released some years back with the purpose to make it possible for administrators to apply users as volontary or mandatory. There has though been some confusion around the functionality and it has showed to be a bit complex. The value of it is not high enough in comparison to the uncertanties that have ocurred, and we have therefore decided to remove the functionality. This will most certanly be done during the spring.
This will mean:
- That administrators not will be able to apply users as voluntary or mandatory. Instead we reason that if a user has an activity on the startpage, it is expected that that should be completed.
- Unapplication rules will be changed into the way it used to work before. That is, if someone else than the participant has been involved in the application (applied or approved by manager or administrator) then he/shecan not unapply by him-/her self
- Report filters for voluntary/mandatory will be removed. Instead we are planning on adding a filter for showing participants that an administrator has applied.
