Linked activities are used to be able to reuse a teacherled course in several different education programs. An example when this is usefull is if you have a teacher led course that is included in several different introduction programs and you want to mix the participants from the program on the teacher led course. By having a teacher led course that you link in to the different programs instead of placing the teacher led course straight into the different programs, you will be able to mix the participants in a practical matter.
You can link in a teacher led course into a certificate, but you can not link in a teacher led course that is a certificate.
When the teacher led course and the education program is set up, you will be able to link these. Go to the education program and click on the button that looks like a link.
You will get a dialogue where you see all teacher led courses that have the status Active and Under Construction.
Click the teacher led course that you want to link into the program.
When a teacher led course is linked in you won’t be able to administrate it from the view in the education program. This is done from the teacher led course. Fastest way to get there is through the button Administrate.
In a teacher led course that is linked in to an education program, you will see a tab that shows all the education programs that this teacher led course is linked into.
For an enduser a linked in teacher led course will look just the same way as if the teacher led course was built into the education program.
